In addition to being the CEO of a major successful healthcare corporation, as President of MJB Consultants, he has spent more than 25 years consulting with governments, NG’s, CSO’s specializing in M & E., systems analysis, strategic planning and generating impact and statistical reports. As a ‘trouble shooter” for Rotary International, he travels all over the world reviewing, assessing and re-engineering major humanitarian projects. He has worked with many world-renowned organizations, such as USAID, UNICEF, Oxfam, WHO etc. and is considered to be an expert in humanitarian relief project design, implementation and evaluation. He lived and worked in West Africa for ten years in Latin America for five. He speaks fluent French, Spanish, good Portuguese and several African languages. He has monitored and evaluated projects in more than 30 countries.
Mei-Li Hennen, MS., Ph.D.
She has more than 15 years experience bridging the gap between Non Profit and sensible business ideals in a social justice context. As a dedicated professional she has focused on helping companies increase their effectiveness through innovative solutions using an ongoing, progressive evaluation process. Her expertise is in quality systems review, strategic planning and the development of and implementation of corporate-wide initiatives: internal marketing, quality care performance, outcome metrics, communications infrastructure and staff development. She has led both National and International Systems Integration projects with Fortune 500 technology consulting firms.
Tigist “Mimi” Goshu
She has been with MJB Consulting from its inception and is a specialist in women’s’ issues. With degrees from the University of Virginia, she has focused on assisting projects serving women, young girls with HIV/Aids related issues. She has a BA in Finance and an advanced certificate as a certified accountant. She brings to each project the special ability that addresses good husbandry and fiscal accountability. A native of Ethiopia she speaks fluent Amharic.
Alex Ozuna, MA
He has initiated and monitored multiple projects in many countries and has a passion for supporting grassroots organizations. He is an expert in basic water systems and their implementation and agricultural development. He is a native Spanish speaker.
